Private Parties

Private parties are welcomed at Santa Barbara's historic El Paseo Restaurant. For a corporate dinner, a social luncheon or a lavish wedding, the restaurant offers exclusivity for up to 240 guests.

The El Paseo was originally part of an 1826 adobe complex which housed the Commandante of the Presidio Royale de Santa Barbara and was the home of the civilian governor of the area from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles.

The décor reflects its rich Spanish heritage, with bougainvillea-draped balconies, fountain courtyard dining and a festive bar. The El Paseo Restaurant has played host to many celebrations of the city of Santa Barbara, including the traditional Fiesta celebration each summer.

Begin with appetizers and cocktails from the restaurant's festive bar. A mariachi band can provide the background music. Dine in the spacious fountain-courtyard restaurant from a delicious menu - plated or buffet - created by the El Paseo's talented team of chefs.
